I really had to think about how to write on this… I am someone who believes in religious freedom, so I don’t want to critizice them. But please look yourself.
Do you know these guys, standing there and screaming that we are all sinners? They are amercian evangelicalists, often criticized for their fundamentalism and extremism. The Vatican does not want to have any relationship with them.
A group of well dressed men comes along the Beach Road. They stand still in a circle and pray. Soon after that they step forward, one by one.

He made a fanatic look, which still scares me.

The bible, always with them. They take it by word, everything written in this book is true.

Also these Thai kids seemed to be interested (even I am shure that they did not understand any word)

Not everybody was that happy about their messages. Some tried to argue with them, senseless as they just continue to pray their believes. Others just said “Fuck You” when they passed by, others dropped 1 Baht in front of them and also the “Hitlergruß” was made.

Mission complete, must be his thought.

Right next to this scene I also saw her, one of the many prostitutes on the Beach Road. So are this the eyes of a sinner in an evangelicalist’s faith?

Remember this song “Rabbit in your headlights” by UNKLE? Where this guy walks throu a tunnel and gets hit by cars over and over. At the end he stands still and a car gets demolished. Here’s the music video on youtube.

The North Pattaya Beach. In the back you can see the expensive Dusit Resort.

This woman is a member of a Nortern Thailand hill tribe. There are a lot of them around here trying to sell their beautiful traditional art.
Thai girl and american man.

Searching for the treasure. As soon as the evening comes and the tourists leave the beach, people come with metal dedectors, looking for coins and wathever might be valueable

There are a lot of graffiti around Pattaya. Maybe I will make an own category somewhen…

This is the entrance to one of Pattaya’s most famous Soi’s – Soi 6. It’s a street full of bars with Thai Ladies sitting in the front and trying to get a customer, 24 hours every day.

The sea brings always something to discover…
…especially for the kids

The channels of Naklua.

Along these channels is a lot of fascinating to discover, such as a chinese temple, a holy place for the people around here

Beside the channel are often some very small ways, sometimes leading to nice places, sometimes leading to someones living room

North Naklua Seaside. Just a short walk from the fishmarket is a wonderful park, everday full of people relaxing, jogging, having time with their families and friends. There are now already plans to rebuild this seaside, maybe to make it more comfortable for the very few tourists. I don’t like it that much how it shall then look like
